Christian Education is alive and active in our church. We have a very active Sunday school, Youth Groups, Women's UCW units and a Men's Group. We have various discussion and study groups, including lecture series with guest lecturers. We also have a large lending library that includes books and tape resources for all ages. Our aim is to develop, in all age groups, Christian knowledge and maturity.
Sunday School
Sunday school classes for children from preschool to Grade 12, are held Sundays at 10 a.m. The classes commence after the Children's Time held as part of our regular worship service.
Youth Confirmation Classes
Youth Confirmation Classes (for Grade 9 students and up), led by Rev. John Tapscott, are held during February and March; check back for more details as they become available.
Adult Confirmation Classes
Christianity 101 - 5 sessions - dates to be announced
Who is Christianity 101 for?
- anyone desiring to more fully investigate the way of Jesus
- anyone desiring to "brush up" on the basics of Christian faith
- those desiring baptism and church membership for themselves
- newcomers to our church family desiring baptism for their children
- anyone who desires the fellowship of a small group within the church
Bible Study
There are three things we must do in order to have a close, intimate relationship with God:
1. Pray
2. Participate actively in a Church Family
3. Study the Word
With these in place we are guaranteed a fulfilling, prosperous, joyous life. Through His Word, God provides us with wisdom.
"My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding, and if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God."
Women's UCW Groups
The Mission of the United Church Women is to unite all women of the congregation for the total mission of the church and to provide a medium through which we may express our loyalty and devotion to Jesus Christ in Christian witness, study, fellowship and service.

The UCW of Streetsville United comprises of 4 groups of ladies:
- TTT (Time, Talent and Treasure) meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 1:15pm in the Fellowship lounge. Please contact Mary Dobson at 905-826-1784
- Silver Stars meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month in member’s homes at 1:30pm. Contact Eleanor Greer at 905-826-3102

The Streetsville United UCW is a very friendly group of women who welcome all ladies into their groups. We encourage you to come out to unit meetings, bring a friend if you wish and join in the fun! Activities often include movie nights, potluck lunches/dinners, wonderful fellowship and support for one another.

Men's Group
