Jesus commanded us "...'You must love the Lord your God will all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.' This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: 'Love your neighbour as yourself.'" (Matthew 23:37-38). An important part of our pastoral care is to facilitate this Christian love amongst all neighbours. We do this through our Neighbouring groups, our quarterly newsletter Tidings, meeting newcomers, visiting those unable to attend church, and especially through prayer.

Prayer Chains

We have two Prayer Chains for those who need our prayers. If you have a prayer request for one of the prayer chains, call Kate Sparrow at 905-608-0965 or Barbara Van Diepen at 905-567-1495.

Prayer Groups

We have two Prayer Groups for those who need our prayers and for those who want to pray together. A Wednesday morning group meets at 9:30 a.m. in the Choir Room. A Friday evening group meets at 8:00 p.m. at Tom and Dorothy Masih's, 5451 McFarren Blvd (905-542-7045).
